Other interests
I have been an enthusiast of mathematical competitions since late high school, and that is probably what got me enrolled in a mathematics BSc in the first place. During my MSc I got interested in harmonic analysis and complex analysis; from signal processing to analytic number theory, I cannot help but think that all these topics are somehow “magical”!
Throughout my years as a student I picked up some teaching roles: among others, I have led a study-abroad group of twenty students in Ireland, tutored complex analysis at the University of Milano-Bicocca, and spent a season as a private tutor in mathematics and chess in Hawaii. And yes — chess runs alongside the mathematics: I play regularly on Lichess as Fastalla.
